Russia, Belarus end oil negotiations

MOSCOW, January 12 (Itar-Tass) -- Delegations led by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and his Belarussian counterpart Sergei Sidorsky have finalized negotiations on the oil problem at the Russian House of Government, a source at the Russian delegation told Itar-Tass.

He said an agreement, which will define terms of Russian crude and petroleum product deliveries to Belarus, will be signed within minutes.

The oil negotiations between the Russian and Belarussian premiers lasted for ten hours.

"Terms of Russian crude delivery to Belarus are the stumbling stone," the source said.

Presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko ordered Fradkov and Sidorsky to report on the outcome of the negotiations by Saturday.
