Belarus Selects Russians to Build Nuclear Power Station

LCG, January 22, 2009--A Belarus government spokesperson announced yesterday that the government selected Russia's Atomstroiexport to construct a nuclear power station in Belarus. Construction of the first, 1,000-MW nuclear reactor is scheduled to be completed in 2016 and a second reactor completed in 2018.
