Lithuanian-Belarusian economic investment forum will be held in Vilnius

Lithuanian-Belarusian economic investment forum will be held in Vilnius on the next week, on February 4. The forum will be focused at the economic investment cooperation and Lithuanian business experience in Belarus, informs LETA.

More than a hundred businessmen, over 40 representatives from Belarus, including first deputy minister of economy, deputy minister of foreign affairs, deputy minister of sports and tourism, chairman of the Belarus Board of Trade are expected to participate in the forum.

The forum is organized by the Lithuanian Development Agency (LEPA), Eksportuojancioji Lietuva, Ministry of Economy and Belarusian embassy in Lithuania.

According to LEPA Director General Mantas Nocius, the overall investment climate in Belarus, tax policy, customs union, investment promotion and incentives, the possibilities for Lithuanian companies to participate in the privatization projects will be discussed in the first part of the forum.

The discussions on investments in real estate sector in Belarus, cooperation in transport and logistics, tourism services, logistic services will be held.
