President of Belarus signed a package of documents of Customs Union

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a package of documents on ratification by the Parliament of the country of the agreements concluded within the Customs Union of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia, Kazakhstan Today agency reports citing Vesti.Ru.

The President of Belarus signed the law on ratification of the agreement on conditions and the mechanism of application of tariff quotas, the protocol on granting of tariff privileges, the protocol on conditions and order of application in the exceptional cases rates of the import customs duties, which differ from the uniform custom duties rates.

A. Lukashenko signed the laws on ratification of the protocol on the uniform system of tariff preferences of the Customs Union, the agreements on Secretariat of the Customs Union Commission, the agreement on kinds of customs procedures and customs modes, agreements on the order of declaration of goods, customs registration and customs control in the Customs Union states.

The Customs Union of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus started to operate on January 1, 2010.
