MINSK. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Russia should make rental payments of $5 million a year for Belarusian forest lands crossed by transit pipelines, Belarus State Property Committee chairman Georgy Kuznetsov said.
"Rent of the forest land by foreigners will amount to about $5 million. Another $3 million will be paid by domestic taxpayers in the form of property tax," Kuznetsov said at the press conference in Minsk on Friday.
Thus, the land crossed by the pipeline system will generate about $8 million in revenue a year, he said.
