Ukrainian, Belarusian vice-premiers discuss energy, transport and agricultural cooperation

Kyiv, February 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian Vice-Premier Andriy Kliuyev and Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko have discussed ways to deepen the two countries' cooperation in the energy, transport, and agroindustrial sectors.

During the two officials' meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday, Kliuyev focused on the need to coordinate efforts to develop bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy complex, the Ukrainian vice-premier's press service reported.

"It is necessary to create the most favorable conditions for cooperation between Ukraine and Belarus, in particular to increase gas transit volumes," the Ukrainian vice-premier said.
