In 2015 Belarus plan to produce 12 mln tonnes of grains

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of the country are developing the conception of the Program of development of the agro industrial complex of the country for 2011-2015, intending the growth of grains production to the level of 12 mln tonnes, declared Semen Shapiro, the Minister of Agriculture and Food.

According to the Minister, the program will include the norms of average European production indices, especially grains yield should total 50 c/ha.

The increase of crops yield and lowering of cost per unit for cultivating technologies are the one of main directions of the work of agricultural organizations. The government plans to improve the specialization of the agrarian industry, noticed the Minister.
