Head of Karaganda region and Belarusian Vice Prime Minister discuss prospects of business relations
KARAGANDA. February 26. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ The Belarusian delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko has visited Karaganda region today within the working visit to Kazakhstan, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Heads of the Belarusian ministers of industry, energy, agriculture including reps of such enterprises as “Belneftehim”, “Bobruiskagromash”, “BelAZ”, “Belshina”, “Bellesbumprom” and “Belgospischerom” are among the members of the delegation. Akim of the region Nurlan Nigmatulin told the guests about the socio-economic development of the region and said that the experience of Belarus on agricultural, communal and road equipment production is of great interest for the region.
“Our visit to Kazakhstan, in particular, to Karaganda region pursues two aims – to share experience in crisis conditions and promote the Belarusian goods to Kazakhstani market”, V. Semashko said .
The members of the delegation also met with the head of “Kazakhmys” Corporation as the company uses equipment of “BelAZ”. The parties considered the issues of further cooperation. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation Eduard Ogay proposed the Belarusian side to create joint service program. According to him another projects in the field of cooperation are also possible.
