Mozyr oil refinery gets 200,000 t of Urals oil from Odesa-Brody and Druzhba pipelines

Mozyr oil refinery (Belarus) has received about 200,000 tonnes of Urals technological oil from the Odesa-Brody and Druzhba pipelines, which was pumped out when supplying Azeri Light oil through the Odesa-Brody pipeline, refinery Director General Anatoliy Kupriyanov has said.

"We have already received about 200,000 tonnes of Urals oil," he said at a press conference in Mozyr.

In addition, the refinery plans in February to receive about 380,000 tonnes of Azeri Light oil through the Odesa-Brody pipeline.

"There won't be much technological oil left, so we will be able to eject it in March," he said about the process of pumping out technological oil from the Odesa-Brody pipeline and one of the branches of the Druzhba pipeline.

As reported, OJSC Ukrtransnafta, the operator of Ukraine's oil pipeline system, on February 13, 2011 started filling the Odesa-Brody pipeline with Caspian Azeri Light oil and its pumping to consumers in Belarus.
