Ukraine and EU worried about pre-election situation in Belarus

As it is written in the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine supported the EU Statement on the situation in Belarus on the eve of the Presidential elections in this country.

As the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's statement reads, Ukraine is worried about attempts to restrict the activities of the local observers and candidates for presidency who represent the opposition, intimidation of diplomats who represent the EU member-states as well as creating obstacles in getting visas and accreditation by journalists of these countries.
