Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demands from Belarus explanations with regard to denying Ukrainian citizens entering Belarussian territory

The Belarussian official representative was called to the Ministry to express Ukraine's concern over a denial to the "5th Channel" shooting group entering the territory of Belarus.

As Foreign Ministry's spokesman Vasyl Filipchuk said, such actions by the Belarussian authorities become systemic, which fact Ukraine cannot put up with. Such moves contradict to the bipartite agreement on visa free border-crossing regime for the two states' citizens and violates accreditation, which was issued to the "5th Channel" by the Belarussian Foreign Ministry. The Ukrainian side urges Belarus to investigate the incidents and give explanations why Ukrainian citizens are not allowed on the territory of Belarus. "We will not allow treating Ukrainian citizens like that and such incidents will be respectively reacted on in the future," Mr Filipchuk summed up.
