Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry learns Belarus experience in fighting against forest fires

Azerbaijan's Emergencies Ministry plans to purchase equipment produced in Belarus, Emergencies Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov said, APA reports.

"We have bought some equipment for clearing Baku and some regions from snow. We are planning to buy heavy equipment, bulldozer and excavator," the minister said.

Kamaladdin Heydarov said that the Emergencies Ministry is learning the practice of Belarus's relevant bodies in fighting against forest fires.

"We want to study their scientific potential. Belarus Emergencies Ministry has scientific institutions, and it is very important to study their practice," the minister stressed.

The minister added agreements have been achieved on training specialists with the relevant bodies of Belarus, Turkey, Russia, France, Ukraine and some other countries.
