Belarusian observers will monitor the referendum vote in Baku and Sumgayit.
The Belarusian International Affairs Parliamentary Commission will arrive in Baku on March 18, the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend News.
Azerbaijan will hold a referendum on March 18 to amend 29 articles of the Constitution.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) registered the New Azerbaijan, City, Progress, Law and Democracy, Civil Society, For Sustainable Development, Intellect, Movement for Karabakh and Republic and Republicans referendum initiative groups. The Prosperous Village, Free Speech, Azerbaijan People's Republic and National Independence groups were denied registration.
Meetings will also be held to discuss future cooperation between the Belarusian and Azerbaijani parliaments, the embassy said.
