The Belarus auction for licenses in the 2,500-2,535 MHz and 2,620-2,655 MHz frequency bands are set to begin in in June, Sergey Novikov, the head of the regulation unit in the ministry of communications and information told Belta. Participants will be invited to participate in the auction in May. Novikov said Belarusian operators Beltelecom, Velcom and Life:) Belarus are among those interested in the licenses. National telecommunications regulator GKRCh allocated frequencies for LTE-testing to MTS Belarus and Life:) Belarus in last year. Trials are scheduled for completion by 1 May.
