Belarussian opposition leader visits Norway

Belarussian opposition leader Aleksandr Milinkevitsj is on a four-day visit to Norway, where he will meet with Norwegian politicians and organisations.

The aim of the visit is to ask for help for those who were exposed to reprisals in the wake of the Belarus presidential election in March, NRK reports.

Milinkevitsj was awarded only 6 per cent of the votes in the election, which was strongly criticised.
