Gazprom and Belarus examined the state of 50% Beltransgas purchase agreement preparation

Alexei Miller, the head of Gazprom, and Alexander Ozerets, the Minister of Energy of Belarus republic, examined the state of 50% Beltransgas purchase agreement preparation, said in Gazprom's announcement.

December 31, 2006 Gazprom and Belarus government signed a protocol according to which Gazprom purchase 50% of Beltransgas's shares for $2.5 bln. The payment will be made by equal parts during 4 years.
