Oman signs two economic pacts with Belarus

(MENAFN) The Omani National Economic Minister announced that Oman and Belarus have signed two major agreements for avoiding double taxation and boosting cooperation between the two countries' chambers of commerce and industry, Khaleej Times reported.

The minister indicated that the agreements, which were signed on the sidelines of the visit of Belarus's President to Oman, will further reinforce trade and economic ties between the two countries. He added that the two countries have pledged to create an encouraging investment environment for investors.

The minister also noted that the Sultanate has signed 26 similar pacts with several countries worldwide, as part of the country's efforts to post a significant increase in its overseas trade and joint investments.
