Russia will supply S-400 Triumph missiles to Belarus

Moscow, Russia - Within the common air space defense plan

(WAPA) - Russia will supply the military forces of Belarus republic with S-400 missiles, within the common air space defence plan of the two Countries. Russian press agency "Interfax" states it quoting deputy commander of the Russian Air Force, general Vadim Volkovitsky.

The concrete terms of the agreement on the supply of the S-400s are now being discussed, Volkovitsky added. Presidents Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitry Medvedev signed the common air space defense agreement in February.

The S-400 is understood to be able to shoot down air targets, including stealth fighters and ballistic missiles, at a distance of more than 400 km.
