Belarus: agricultural economies of Brest, Gomel and south regions of Minsk oblasts started the sowing campaign

Agricultural economies of Brest, Gomel and south regions of Minsk oblasts started the sowing campaign, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

Brest oblast sowed spring grains and legumes throughout 7.3% of planned areas, Gomel oblast - 4.4%, Minsk oblast - 1.3%. As of March 31, the country sowed spring crops throughout 27.200 ha (1.17% of planned areas), including 25.800 ha of grains and legumes or 2.16% of planned territory.

Belarus still did not start the mass sowing campaign. The country prepared over 59 thsd of land areas for the sowing campaign or 2.5% of planned territory.

Agrarians provided extranutrition of 109.100 ha of winter grains, or 8.4% of planned areas, and 37.400 ha of winter rapeseed or 10%.
