MINSK, April 20 (Itar-Tass) -- Deposed Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family arrived in Minsk on Monday, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in answer to deputies' questions after having delivered a state of the nation address.
Lukashenko said he had had three telephone conversations with Bakiyev and ordered Belarusian services to deliver him to Minsk.
"He [Bakiyev] came to Minsk on Monday night," the president said.
Four family members accompany Bakiyev, he said. "A medical checkup of Bakiyev is planned for today," he said.
