MOSCOW, April 5 (Itar-Tass) -- The Year of Culture of Belarus begins on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow with a ballet of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Belarus.
At the same time, the exhibition titled "Belart.by.Young Artists of Belarus" will open at the Central Museum of Russia's Modern History in Moscow. Sixty talented authors of Belarus will present their works, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, works of decorative, applied and video arts, at the exhibition.
The next important event will be a joint concert of leading Belarussian and Russian artists devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory due to be held at the Hall of Columns of the House of Trade Unions in Moscow on April 30.
The program of the Year of Culture of Belarus is to be interesting and saturated.
The holiday of many days of Belarussian art is organized in accordance with the protocol on cooperation signed by the Ministries of Culture of the two countries. In 2009, the Year of Russian Art was held in Belarus.
