Iranians 'representatives of Iran's culture'

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that all Iranians throughout the world are the representatives of the country's culture.

Ahmadinejad made the remarks among a group of Iranians residing in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus on Monday, saying for hundreds of years Iranians have represented Iran's culture and civilization.

"Each Iranian is the representative of Iran's culture and civilization," he said.

"The Belarusian government and people are keen to expand bilateral ties with Iran and Iranians residing in Belarus can play a constructive role in the expansion of such relations," the Iranian president said.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Belarus on Monday on a day official visit.
