Ahmadinejad: Enemies' Plots against Iran Ineffective

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a banquet thrown in his honor by his Belarusian counterpart Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk Monday night, stressed that the plots hatched by bullying and hegemonic powers against Iranian nation have failed.

"The more belligerent and devilish the enemies grow, the more united the Iranian nation will resist and the more progress the Iranian scientists will make," he said.

"Bullying and expansionist powers have come to their end," he said, and further underlined that international systems and the world order should be regulated on the basis of justice and equality.

"We are opposed to bipolarization of the world," Ahmadinejad said.

Elsewhere, the Iranian president viewed expansion of Tehran-Minsk ties as beneficial to regional and world peace and security.
