Ahmadinejad meet Belarusian parliament speaker

TEHRAN, May. 22 (ISNA)-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with the Belarusian parliament speaker, Vladimir Kanapolev in Minsk on Tuesday, stated that the resistance of independent countries such as the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus had weakened bigheaded colonial powers.

During this meeting, Iran's President stressed the need for further and deeper ties between the two countries, and described the Tehran-Minsk relations as profound and promoting.

For his part, the Belarusian parliament speaker reiterated the development of ties between the two countries, and praised Iran's solid stances against unilateralism in the world.

Also in a dinner gathering held in honor of Ahmadinejad's presence, Iran's President had noted that the reign of bulling and greedy powers had ended.

"International laws and divisions should be based on equality and justice; we are against unilateralism," he said.

Ahmadinejad also emphasized that the more pressure was imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran the stronger and more united Iran would become.

"All plots for defeating Iran have been crushed," he stated.

"We will stand against all threats and forces; we will never back down," he added.

In another meeting with the Belarusian vice president and minister of industry Ahmadinejad stressed on Iran's will to expand ties with that country.
