Ilham Aliyev and Aleksandr Lukashenko ends one-on-one meeting

One-on-one meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his Belarus counterpart Aleksandr Lukashenko in Baku has ended, APA reports.

Following this, the delegations of the two countries held a meeting with participation of Ilham Aliyev and Aleksandr Lukashenko.

Azerbaijani President addressing the meeting, highly appreciated bilateral relations between the two countries. President said the agreements to be concluded between the two countries will contribute to further development of the relations.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said it was his first visit to Azerbaijan expressing satisfaction with the current relations between the two countries. Belarus President said Azerbaijan is a country with dynamic development, and Belarus people live freely in Azerbaijan as the latter do in Belarus. "Unfortunately some states are jealous of our relations. There are good friendship and cooperation relations between our countries".

The ceremony of signing agreements will be held between the two countries following the meeting of the delegations. After the ceremony, Belarusian and Azerbaijan Presidents will hold press conference.

Azerbaijan and Belarus President's one-on-one meeting has just finished. The meeting stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation, expressing confidence for the development of the relations after this meeting. President Ilham Aliyev and his counterpart from Minsk emphasized the importance of bilateral relations in the political, economical, humanitarian fields. /APA/
