Azerbaijan's Prime Minister leaves for Minsk to attend meeting of the Council of CIS heads of governments

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh has today left for Minsk to attend the meeting of the Council of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) heads of governments, press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told APA. The meeting will be held on May 23.

The agenda includes 21 issues. The main issues are draft strategy of CIS economic development, coordinated transport policy and measures for increasing food safety. Working groups were set up in connection with these issues. They regularly discuss the documents to submit them to the heads of governments. The draft convention on legal status of migrant workers ad their family members, preparation for the 65th anniversary of Great Patriotic war will also be discussed during the meeting. Ukraine will hand over the chairmanship to Belarus at the meeting of the Council, Prime Minister of the country will chair the Council, prime ministers of Ukraine and Georgia will be co-chairs.
