Forbis launches new version of banking information system

Forbis, a developer of banking software, has launched its Forpost banking information system version 4.4.1.

The new Forpost release meets the regulations No 302-P of the Bank of Russia, which determine business accountancy in credit institutions. On the basis of these regulations, banks accountancy systems transited from a cash-desk to an accumulative method.

All the corresponding changes in products related to income and expenses have been implemented in BIS Forpost. Management of currency control attributes in payment documents has also been designed for the Russian market.

In the Forpost v4.4.1, there also have been performed changes regarding specifics of the Belarusian market. According to the requirements of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Control institutions, there were performed changes in the system kernel, in the CRM system, as well as in other bank products such as credits, deposits, and card-file.

There were created interfaces with Belarus Interbank Settlement System (BISS) and clearing system of other payments (Rus. abbr. KPP). Specialized management of Belarusian payment documents, management of commissions and accountancy, as well as development of other subsystems have been implemented.

There also have been created new products: the module of Forpost Remote Messaging Service, which allows exchanging SMS and e-mail messages safely and reliably; a universal integration solution technology, enabling flexible and quick integration of the FORPOST system with other external systems; the possibility of exchanging messages between BIS Forpost and Target2 Euro settlement systems of the European Union via the Bank of Lithuania.

Besides, technological novelties have been introduced in the version: the XSL Engine system and its integration with the Forpost XSR subsystem. In the Forpost Internet Banking system, there is stipulated support of XSR reports, the possibility of creating internet banking pages by banks themselves, as well as further Forpost internet banking development.
