Kazakh, Belarusian PMs to open business forum in Astana

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Belarus Karim Massimov and Sergey Sidorsky will take part in an opening of the Kazakh-Belarusian business forum in Radisson SAS Hotel; Kazinform reports.
In the course of the business forum it is planned to discuss prospects of the Kazakh-Belarusian cooperation in the spheres of healthcare, construction, agriculture, food production, industry and trade in consumer goods. At present 23 service centers of the Belarusian enterprises, 30 joint enterprises, 6 trade centers, a large number of representatives and dealers of different Belarusian companies function in Kazakhstan. In January-March the trade turnover between the two states reached USD 98.3 mln, USD 13.5 mln out of which formed export and USD 84.8 mln import.

Kazakhstan exports barley, phosphor salt, plumbous oxide and etc. to Belarus.

Belarus imports polyester, wood stoves, oil products, medicaments and etc. to Kazakhstan.
