Shahroudi Back Home from Belarus

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Judiciary chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi on Friday returned home from Belarus where he discussed issues of mutual interest with the country's senior officials.

Speaking to reporters upon his arrival at the airport, the ayatollah said during his three-day visit he had "very good" discussions with judicial officials of Belarus who hailed independence of Iran's judicial system.

According to Ayatollah Shahroudi two documents were signed by the Iranian and Belarusian judiciary heads for promotion of bilateral cooperation.

He added that ways to fight terrorism and discrimination as well as formation of a joint legal organization for members of the Non-Aligned Movement were among major topics discussed by the Iranian and Belarusian officials, the Islamic republic news agency reported.
