Agricultural economies of three oblasts of Belarus suffered from dust storms
Agricultural economies of Minsk, Gomel and Brest oblasts suffered from dust storms, which lasted in Belarus last weekend, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus on April 4.
In separate regions dust storms provided essential damages to grain sowing areas. To date, agrarians examine own fields in order to determine the number of sowings damaged from the storms.
At the same time, the lack of moisture in upper layers of soil also makes the situation more difficult. According to weather forecasts, the country should expect the rainy weather on May 7-8. The summer season in Belarus will be rather drought.
