The document was signed during a recent visit of a delegation from the European country to Cuba, according to the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry (www.cubaminrex.cu).

Both sides agreed to join efforts to expand markets to sell cytostatic agents produced by the Cuban Center for Molecular Immunology Research in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and in Latin America.

The vice president of Belarus, Victor Burya, said last May 23 in Minsk, the country's capital, that his government is willing to continue developing bilateral commercial, scientific and technical cooperation with Cuba.

On that date, an intergovernmental agreement was signed in Havana in the area of veterinary science with prospects to expand collaboration to the sectors of informatics, communication, education, health, sports and culture, among others.
