Ukraine will get USD 110-120mln from Venezuela oil transportation, transport minister says

Ukraine will get USD 110-120 million from transportation of Venezuela oil via the Ukrainian railway from Odesa to Belarus, Transport and Communications Minister Kostiantyn Yefimenko told a briefing at the Cabinet.

The minister specified that the first tanker has already arrived in the Odesa port with Venezuela oil of 80,000 tons where it passed the customs clearance. On April 25, the tanker Sea Star (flag of Malta) with 80,000 tons of oil moored at the Odesa commercial seaport with a destination point the Mozyr Oil Refinery (Belarus). According to information of the Transport and Communications Ministry, "presently, profitability of a variant of oil transportation to Belarus via the Odesa port and further by the railway to the consignee is being calculated by economists. In case of a favorable completion of an experiment, the freight flow can make up about 4 million tons a year."
