Baku, Fineko/abc.az. On May 5, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev received in Baku Belarus Vice Prime Minister, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation Andrei Kobyakov.
I. Aliyev noted in the meeting that the national exhibition of Belarus, which was opened in Baku, would serve strengthening of connections between the countries, as well as availability of potential for development of such relations.
A. Kobyakov noted that goods turnover between the countries, which has already grown 4-fold, has opportunities for additional growth.
Earlier, A. Kobyakov said that his visit was connected with preparation of a visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan.
