Azerbaijan's President receives Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus

Baku - APA. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, co-chair of Azerbaijan-Belarus intergovernmental commission on commercial-economic cooperation Andrei Kobyakov, APA reports. The head of state underlined that the 2nd national exhibition of Belarus in Baku had aroused great interest in the country, and expressed his hope that the exhibition would strengthen the relations between the countries.

Ilham Aliyev said there was a good potential to extend the economic cooperation. The head of state also noted the importance of the joint projects implemented between the two countries.

Kobyakov said the government was doing its best to fulfill the tasks put by the two presidents for extending the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus. Andrei Kobyakov said trade and goods turnover between our countries increased by four times.

Touching on the importance of the 2nd national exhibition of Belarus Kobyakov said 150 enterprises of Belarus were participating in the exhibition and expressed his confidence that the exhibition would be effective for determining the prospects of economic cooperation.
