Belarusian head calls to resolve problems to speed up EurAsEC development

The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) has already fulfilled its primary task - to promote economic integration and to stop disintegration processes in the CIS territory, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday at an opening ceremony of the meeting of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community.

"We are confident that the EurAsEC can and should turn into a community of flourishing, politically and economically stable countries. For this purpose we should promptly settle main issues hampering the EurAsEC development", Alexander Lukashenko underlined.

The Belarusian leader deems it necessary to exploit potential of the community member-states more actively. First of all it concerns completing of the forming of the Customs Union and setting of the single customs tariff.
