Belarus/Germany/Poland/Russia: CJSC "Eurasia Rail Logistic" established

CJSC "Eurasia Rail Logistic" was established with participation of railways of Russia, Germany, Poland and Byelorussia.

Heads of railway administrations of the countries signed the statement on the launch of the joint logistic company in the framework of the 70th Session of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Railways.

The target of the company establishment is the optimization of the transportation process aiming at the improvement of transport service quality and the increase of the volume of cargoes transported by railway between Russia and Western Europe along international transport corridor ü 2 (Berlin-Warsaw-Minsk-Moskow-Nizhni Novgorod).

Optimization of the transportation process will be reached due to application of single transportation documents, development of the information exchange between railroads and control authority, reduction of time and resource losses at the technological joints of the railways.

The authorized capital of the company will amount to 1.6 mln rubles. The share of OAO RZD will be 40.1%, Railion Deutschland-34.9%, Polish Railways-15%, Byelorussian railways-10%. The joint company will be registered in Moscow.
