Ukraine, Belarus sign bilateral intergovernment agreements

Ukraine and Belarus have signed a range of bilateral intergovernment agreements, including an agreement on no-visa travel of the two countries' citizens.

The current 3-day period of stay of the Ukrainian citizens in Belarus without registration was increased up to 30 days. The parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Ukraine's Economics Ministry in the filed of taking special antidumping and compensation measures on mutual trade. "We have today signed very important documents resulted from our negotiation process, in the economic area first of all. We agreed that we lift mutual antidumping investigations and all restrictions and we begin a constructive work", Tymoshenko told reporters. Ukraine and Belarus also signed an agreement of cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes and an interstate agreement on the transfer of the convicted persons for further imprisonment.
