The construction of an underground crossing for frogs in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha national park in Belarus has been completed, media reports say.
The three tubes, set 50 metres apart, will facilitate safe passage for toads and frogs, which are often killed by vehicles on the busy road.
According to the Belaruskaya Lesnaya Gazeta, the so-called "frog tunnel" is part of a reconstruction project of the road linking the national park and the city of Brest, on the Polish border.
The project is the second of its kind in Belarus. The first frog tunnel was constructed in 2006, about 150 km north of the Belarus capital Minsk.
