Minsk, June 29 (Interfax-West) - Belarus and Ukraine will support each other in the frames of the European cooperation programs, including Eastern Partnership program and other initiatives.
Ukrainian parliamentary speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn made such a statement after a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Boris Batura.
"I support Belarusian authorities' participation in Eastern Partnership and other European programs," Lytvyn said.
Batura, in turn, pointed out mutual understanding in political field between the two states. "I believe that everything, which is currently being done in the frames of our cooperation, is aimed at overcoming the world financial crisis with the least possible losses," he added.
