MINSK, June 22 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has expressed hope that all agreements between Russia and Belarus will be fulfilled.

"This visit was planned long ago," he said after the talks in Minsk on Tuesday.

"The talks between the two countries' foreign ministries do not embrace economic problems, there are different tasks," the foreign minister said in reply to the question whether he regretted that the gas dispute was not put on the talks' agenda.

In his comments on President Alexander Lukashenko's words that the conflict with Russia was escalating to war, Lavrov noted that the presidents are responsible for all aspects of bilateral relations and "have the right to make statements on any issues."

"As for the Russian and Belarussian Foreign Ministries we have a coordinated document of joint actions. And we honestly, actively and scrupulously fulfil it. I am confident that other ministries will also fulfil the effective agreements," the diplomat said.
