Belarus president meets prime minister of Azerbaijan

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko paying official visit to Azerbaijan received country's PM Artur Rasizade in his residence on June 4.

Stressing satisfaction with the negotiations held in Baku, the Belarus president noted the high effect of work of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. The execution of decisions taken at its sessions is proven by the functioning joint ventures, the growing trade turnover between Belarus and Azerbaijan.

Prime Minister Artur Rasizade stressed importance of further expansion of economic ties and voiced confidence that the current visit of the president of Belarus will help deepen mutually profitable business contacts for the sake of the two peoples.

The premier handed works of Azerbaijani scientists that fix the success of the Belarus economy to Alexander Lukashenko.
