Lukashenko said Medvedev humiliated Belarus with sausages, butter and pancakes

The statements of the Russian authorities humiliate the people of Belarus.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this at the meeting with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, "Belta" agency reports.

"I'd like to inform you about the conflict developing into gas war between Gazprom and Belarus. It is said to be a dispute between companies, but in this case I don't understand how this dispute can touch upon the country's authorities. It is not a dispute between companies any more. I am sorry but when we are humiliated with cutlets, sausages and pancakes we take it as an insult to people of Belarus. Any President including that of neighbouring friendly state should not behave in this way", said A. Lukashenko.

The head of Belarus underlined that such Russia's cynicism came as a bad surprise to Belarus.
