MINSK. July 13 (Interfax) - Former Belarusian presidential candidate Aleksandr Kozulin has been convicted and sentenced by the Minsk Moskovsky Court to five years and six months in a low-security prison camp.
Judge Aleksey Rybakov read the verdict in the presence of the lawyers and a member of a diplomatic mission. None of Mr. Kozulin's relatives was allowed in the courtroom.
Kozulin's relatives were informed about the verdict by lawyer Igor Rynkevich.
