Russia, Belarus for Integration

Moscow, Jul 3 (Prensa Latina) President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Tuesday Russia's firm willingness towards integration with Belarus under mutually profitable conditions.

In a message on occasion of festivities for the national independence party of the neighboring country's liberation from fascist occupation, Putin said that Moscow and Minsk still have several common tasks ahead that require joined efforts.

In his message sent to President Alexander Lukashenko, the Russian leader stated his government's will to boost profitable cooperation and contribute to social and economic progress of both nations.

Despite complexities in economic ties with the Russian Federation, Belarus will be faithful to relations of allies, and fulfil adopted accords, Lukashenko stated today.

The Belarussian leader, in his speech for the 63rd anniversary of the liberation of the fascist occupation, said that his country is ready to defend unity "with honor and good measure."
