Belarus willing to provide UAE specialists with training in human trafficking prevention

The international training centre for human trafficking prevention of the Academy of the Belarusian Interior Ministry is willing to provide the specialists from the United Arab Emirates with training in human trafficking prevention, Head of the Academy Ivan Sergei said at the meeting with Executive Director of the State Ministry of the Federal National Council Affairs Saeed Al Ghafli in Minsk on July 16, reported Belta.

"We are glad that our counterparts from the UAE decided to visit us. We will show them how we work, and if they get interested in training their specialists here, we will help them," Ivan Sergei said.

At present, the representatives of 10 CIS member states are attending a course on human trafficking prevention at the Academy of the Belarusian Interior Ministry.

According to Saeed Al Ghafli, the main goal of his visit to Belarus is to study the work of the international training centre for human trafficking prevention and to consider the opportunity to train UAE specialists in Belarus.

He added that he is also scheduled to meet with senior officials of the Belarusian Interior Ministry in order to discuss the Belarusian state programme on human trafficking prevention.
