On Tuesday Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) imposed temporary restrictions on meat product supply from Gomelsky and Brestsky Meat Processing Plants to the Russian Federation. The ban was introduced in a view of detection harmful substances in meat supplied from the aforementioned enterprises.
Belarusian Chief Veterinary Directorate of the Agriculture and Food Supply Ministry has suspended supply of products from Luninetsky Dairy Plant, Bobruysky and Kletsky Butter Plants to Russia as well.
The agency's press-service reported the restrictions were imposed in a view of antibiotics detection. The reasons of violations are expected to be defined and all defects be eliminated within the nearest future.
