Belarus harvested 5.6 mln. t of grains as of Aug.23

Total harvest in Belarus makes 5.612 million tonnes as of August, 23. The Agricultural Ministry of Belarus supposes to reach in next few days the 6 million tonnes line.

The average grain yield over the country makes 3.2 tonnes per hectare, which is 0.09 tonnes per hectare less than last year. The Government has already bought 568,200 tonnes of grains or 58.2% of planned quantity.

Overall harvested area in Belarus for today is about 1.778 million hectares which makes 84.7% of total grain crops.
