Should Poland cut diplomatic ties with Belarus

Roman Giertych from the rightist League of Polish Families has proposed to cut diplomatic ties with Belarus. Giertych who heads the Parliamentary commission for contacts with Poles resident abroad postulates to give president Lukashenko an ultimatum: should his regime not stop the repressions by August 27th then the Polish government will terminate all contacts with Belarus. On August 27th the leadership of the Polish Association in Belarus, established and accepted by Belarus authorities aims at staging elections for the new chairmanship of the oprganisation
