Belarus pays off debt to Gazprom
RBC, 08.08.2007, Moscow 12:28:34.Gazprom has confirmed that Belarus has completely paid off its debt for natural gas supplies to the republic in 2007, the Russian energy holding said in a statement today.
Beltransgaz paid a total of $456.16m for gas supplies, including a first installment of $190m on August 3, 2007. Therefore, Belarus has paid off its debt before the final deadline, which was set for August 9, 2007.
