The two sides made the decision at the 8th session of Iran-Belarus Joint Economic Commission.

Iran's Commerce Minister Massud Mirkazemi said similar political and international polices of the two states will greatly help reinforce bilateral economic ties.

Trade transactions, auto and food industries, medical equipment, and oil and gas sectors are the suitable fields for investment, he added.

Belarusian Industry Minister Anatoliy Rusetskiy pointed to the sides' high potentials, adding Iran Khodro Company's (IKCO) presence in the country is an attempt to achieve the goals.

The 8th session opened in the presence of officials of the Ministry of Industries and Mines, IKCO, Bank Refah, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Institute of Standards & Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI).
